THOR 3548 Brushless Gear Motor
The MAXYNOS THOR 3548 (Titan High-power Outrunner) is a premium 35mm Brushless DC Outrunner Motor equipped with a 36mm precision planetary gearbox, engineered for superior torque and efficiency in demanding applications. Designed for professionals who require unmatched power, durability, and control, this motor stands at the top of the MAXYNOS lineup.
The THOR 3548 is available in two kV ratings — 900kV (1000W) for higher speed and dynamic performance, and 790kV (840W) for optimized torque and efficiency under load. Combined with three available gear ratios (1:14, 1:19, and 1:51), this motor provides flexibility for a wide range of mechanical and robotic systems.
Featuring an outrunner rotor design that places the rotor outside the motor core, it delivers exceptional torque output, stable operation, and superior thermal balance. The all metal planetary gearbox ensures smooth torque transfer, low noise, and long service life — making the THOR 3548 ideal for robotics, automation, and heavy-duty mobility platforms.

Motor Connection Guide
Connecting your brushless motor to the ESC is simple: both components have three wires.
Connect each of the three motor wires to the three ESC output wires — left, middle, and right.
The middle wire of the motor must always connect to the middle wire of the ESC. Do not change this connection.
You can swap the left and right wires if you want to reverse the motor’s rotation direction.
FAQs
Do you ship your products Worldwide?
Yes. We ship worldwide and process most orders within 24 hours for fast and secure delivery.
What makes the MAXYNOS THOR 3548 motor different from smaller models?
The THOR 3548 offers higher power output (up to 1000W) and torque compared to smaller motors like the 2826 and 2830. It is designed for larger robotics, RC vehicles, and automation projects that need more strength and load capacity.
What gearbox ratios are available for the THOR 3548?
The THOR 3548 comes in three gearbox ratios: 14:1 (13.73 exact), 19:1 (19.20 exact), and 51:1 (50.89 exact). This flexibility allows you to select the right balance between speed and torque for your project.
Which ESC is recommended for the THOR 3548?
For safe operation, we recommend the Maxynos 45A ESC or higher. This ensures the motor performs reliably at its rated voltage and current levels, whether you choose the 900KV or 790KV version.
What applications is the THOR 3548 best suited for?
This motor is ideal for heavier robotics projects, RC aircraft, electric vehicles, and advanced automation systems. Its planetary gearbox provides smooth acceleration and precise handling under demanding loads.
What is the weight of the THOR 3548 motor?
The weight depends on the gearbox ratio. The 14:1 version weighs 349 g, the 19:1 version weighs 350 g, and the 51:1 version weighs 389 g. This makes it a powerful yet compact choice for high-performance builds.
